During my nearly ten years at Massachusetts General Hospital, I served multiple roles as an evaluator, senior clinician, clinical supervisor and substance use disorder specialist. To meet the need of those roles, I received extensive training in a multitude of therapeutic models including CBT, CRAFT, Harm Reduction, Prolonged Exposure, ACRA, and Motivational Interviewing to bring an evidence-based and skillful approach to therapy. Since starting my private practice, I have incorporated several other modalities into my work including ACT, DBT, and mindfulness training.
My clients choose to work with me due to my informed, yet relaxed manner, which includes humor and applicable self-disclosure. I feel it is important to have clear goals for therapy but also believe that understanding and pursuit of our values can lead to much more satisfying outcomes.
If this sounds like a good fit for you, please feel free to contact me.
